Now your Minecraft Launcher icon should look the same as it looked for the old launcher! I recommend not deleting it (and putting it somewhere different than the downloads folder so you dont accidentally delete it ) ico file, then the Minecraft Launcher icon can change after you restart the computer. ico file (in this case "minecraft.ico") and click OK
